As someone who's not the handiest and lacks strength, it took me a solid three hours to put this together with just the included tools. The instructions were okay โ could be clearer, but manageable. A drill would've made the process much quicker, especially since manually screwing was a challenge, hinting at the quality of the materials. The fabric is soft but sheds quite a bit when tugged at. My cat was immediately drawn to it, especially the litter box-turned-cozy bed at the bottom. The tree itself is heavy and very stable, no wobbling or tipping fears, even with my 11-pound cat exploring every inch. He's not too keen on the round basket at the bottom, probably a bit snug for him. Seems like this tree is more suited for lighter cats, but the palm leaf accessory adds a nice touch and variety. I'm quite pleased with it, especially since it's more affordable than similar items locally.
